Community Outreach & Mission

OFPC has created its own identifier of being a "micro church". We know that as a tiny congregation we are called to serve in ways that impact individuals rather than systems. The knowledge that we can make an impact changes the way that we view ourselves and our community.

We welcome all individuals who are centered in love to gather with us on Sundays and to pray with us as we live into our baptisms as children of God and believers in Jesus Christ as the way and the light of the world.

As a congregation we have decided that our OFPC 2023 Community Outreach offerings will be made to local food banks and to the Presbytery of Western North Carolina's "Daily Change Offering (formerly Nickel-a-Meal)" program. We appreciate the way that the program has three emphases: prayer, discovery, and action. Click on the image below to read more about the program.
